Li, Europe:
Everything is fine with me, I communicate with my parents and friends from Ukraine, they also say that everything is ok in their cities and the territory is under the control of the Ukrainian army. I promised that I would tell a little about the attitude of Europeans towards Ukrainians in the current situation. Now I travel from Vienna to the German city of Salle by train for free, in all EU countries on all modes of transport travel is free for us.
Also, the hotel offered us a free breakfast when they found out that we were from Ukraine and a discount on the room.
People here are very worried about our country, they constantly ask how things are and offer help on literally everything.
Our friends from different cities volunteer here, they say that every day huge trucks are formed from Europe to help Ukraine with both medicines and food and clothing.
All of Europe has united to help Ukraine in whatever way they can. There are also many centres where women with children are accommodated, where they can receive any help and food for free.
My boyfriend and I are now working remotely in the IT field in order to continue to financially support the Ukrainian army. I believe that the war will end soon, and we will be able to safely return home.
I really miss Kyiv and my family.

The morning Russia attacked (at 5 a.m.), many people woke up from their relatives’ phone calls. My mom wakes up at 5 a.m. every day, so she already knew the war had broken out. However, she didn’t call me. I woke up to the sound of sirens and explosions. And when I realized this was neither a dream nor a false alarm, I called her and asked why didn’t she call me. She said she didn’t want to ruin my last chance to sleep quietly. It’s hard to describe how much I appreciate these two last hours of peaceful sleep.

In the queue for the dairy, people talk about everything but war. Perhaps, the queue itself is a sign of war.

I’m not in the right condition to write any stories after seeing dead bodies just laying on the road. I’m happy to stay alive now.. there were a lot of explosions just in front of my house during these 3 days.
