In the modern world, the concept of “Ukrainians” has become more important than before. Taking into account the fact that there has been a war on the territory of Ukraine for a year, we can conclude that people have changed a lot. They began to pay more attention to their roots, culture, and knowledge handed down by their ancestors. In 2022, the world began to pay more attention to Ukraine, and many foreigners are currently studying the language and our culture. However, how long will it last, and will Ukraine still be popular in a few years?
In my opinion, it is worth starting this essay with a talk about the musical aspect of Ukrainian culture. Our folklore is incredibly beautiful and unique, taking into account the fact that in ancient times, the people of Ukraine, as well as other Slavs, were pagans, in some folklore songs it is still possible to see examples of pagan ideas and motives.
Ukrainian folk songs may seem quite primitive, at first sight, however, they always contain a very deep meaning, it can be the concept of existence, the secret of the childbirth, as well as the idea of man and nature coexistence, that’s why if someone wants to get to know Ukraine better, he should start listening to classical folklore music.
The second equally important factor that should be discussed with foreigners and that should be promoted to the world is Ukrainian history. The history that talks about how Ukrainians have defended their independence, their culture and their national identity many times throughout their existence. Through the years, our ancestors fought against many states and all nevertheless, they were able to withstand it, and the history shows that Ukrainian state is strong and independent and can face anybody, regardless of numerical or military superiority on the side of the enemy state.
All of the above can be summarized in the conclusion, in which the answer to the question that was asked in the first paragraph of this essay will be provided. Yes! Ukraine will be popular in a few years, but only if Ukrainians themselves promote it worthily/
