Natalia, Kyiv:
Enrage not enemies, but friends who keep silence.
Sophia, Kyiv:
Ukrainian youth are strong, patriotic, and we are ready to fight and protect our motherland till our victory. We will not bear russian regime, and we will show the world our nation strength.
Slava Ukraini!
Sophia, Kyiv:
I was scared first few hours after announcing the war, but till the very begin I felt the wonderful unity between our people, we supported and help each other, I saw our president’s acts, I saw our incredible soldiers and volunteers. And I understood that I wanted to live in this country and develop it together. The war has changed not only our lives, it has changed our personalities and points of view. The war has shown that Ukrainians have a huge potential and they can become a full-fledged part of European society. Now I want to keep staying in Ukraine and keep protecting it till a successful end.
Victoria, Kyiv:
The feeling which I get almost all the time is anger. One of the things which really drives me crazy is “neutral position” for this war of my friend. You see, he’s Ukrainian. He lives in Ukraine since he was born. When war started he came to our village from Kyiv as many people. But he’s “neatral”. He is currently protected by Ukrainian soldiers from russian occupation. But he’s “neutral”. People die all across Ukraine. Buildings and houses are being destroyed by artillery shelling. Women are raped by russian soldiers. But he’s “neutral”.
His family consider Ukrainian language as a part of russian and say that Ukraine is deepest low, so he is neutral.
To my mind, it’s impossible to be apolitical when people like russian come to your house and kill the ones you love.
I won’t be tolerant to this.
